Cedi Depreciates Against Dollar on July 27

The Ghanaian Cedi has depreciated against the US dollar on July 27, 2026. According to data from Cedirates.com, a reliable platform that tracks daily currency and fuel rates, the average buying rate is GHS11.52, while the selling rate is GHS12.09. At forex bureaus, the Cedi trades at GHS11.95 for dollar purchases and GHS12.30 for dollar sales.

On the Bank of Ghana interbank market, the Cedi trades at GHS11.63 for buying and GHS11.64 on the selling rates. The British pound is trading at GHS15.27 for buying and GHS16.20 for selling, while the Euro is trading at GHS13.04 for buying and GHS13.84 for selling.

Some money transfer services like LemFi and Taptap Send are offering competitive rates for remittances from the US or UK to Ghana. For digital subscription payments made via Visa and Mastercard, the exchange rate stands at GHS12.53 and GHS12.50 respectively.
