Cedi Fluctuates Against Major Currencies on August 28

The Ghanaian Cedi has seen fluctuations in value against major currencies on Friday, August 28, 2026. At forex bureaus, it's trading at GHS11.75 for dollar purchases and GHS12.20 for sales. On the Bank of Ghana interbank market, the cedi is valued at GHS11.21 for buying and GHS11.22 for selling.

The British pound and Euro are also experiencing fluctuations, with average forex bureau rates standing at GHS15.18 for buying and GHS16.22 for selling against the pound, and GHS13.00 for buying and GHS13.94 for selling against the Euro.

For digital subscription payments such as Netflix, Spotify, and Apple Music made via Visa and Mastercard, the exchange rate stands at GHS12.09 each.
