Cedi Fluctuates Against Major Currencies on September 2
The Ghanaian Cedi has seen slight fluctuations in its value against major currencies on September 2, according to data from Cedirates.com. The currency's average buying rate stands at GHS11.48 compared to Tuesday's rates, while the selling rate is at GHS11.92, a one pesewa appreciation.
At forex bureaus, the Cedi trades at GHS11.75 for dollar purchases and GHS12.20 for sales. On the Bank of Ghana interbank market, the Cedi is trading at GHS11.27 for buying and GHS11.28 on selling rates.
The pound sterling is also experiencing some movement with forex bureau rates at GHS15.19 for buying and GHS16.22 for selling. The Bank of Ghana's interbank rate for the pound stands at GHS15.26.
