Cedi Holds Steady Against US Dollar on August 3
The Ghanaian Cedi has shown stability in its value against the US dollar on Monday, August 3. Compared to Friday's rates, the average buying rate is GHS11.58 and the selling rate is GHS12.12.
Forex bureaus are trading at GHS11.95 for dollar purchases and GHS12.30 for dollar sales, according to Cedirates.com. The Bank of Ghana interbank market has rates of GHS11.68 for buying and GHS11.70 for selling.
The British pound is trading at GHS15.42 for buying and GHS16.27 for selling at forex bureaus, while the Bank of Ghana's interbank rate is GHS15.75. The Euro is trading at GHS13.18 for buying and GHS13.93 for selling.
