Cedi Holds Steady Against US Dollar on August 3

The Ghanaian Cedi has maintained its stability against the US dollar on Monday, August 3, 2026. The average buying rate remains at GHS11.58 and selling rate at GHS12.12 compared to Friday's rates.

At forex bureaus, the Cedi is trading at GHS11.95 for dollar purchases and GHS12.30 for sales. On the Bank of Ghana interbank market, the cedi is trading at GHS11.68 for buying and GHS11.70 on selling rates.

The British pound is also stable with an average forex bureau rate of GHS15.42 for buying and GHS16.27 for selling, while the Bank of Ghana's interbank rate stands at GHS15.75. The Euro is trading at GHS13.18 for buying and GHS13.93 for selling at forex bureaus, with an interbank rate of GHS13.47.
