Central Bank Sets Euro Exchange Rate as Russian Economy Sees Modest Growth
The Central Bank of Russia set the official euro exchange rate on September 5 at 100.5693 rubles.
In other economic news, Russia's GDP grew by 0.6% in seven months, and deflation for the week was a mere 0.01%. Gasoline prices rose to 77.76 rubles per liter over the same period.
The Ministry of Finance will buy 55.6 billion rubles worth of foreign currency and gold in September as part of the budget rule, while Inter RAO's non-financial reporting received a top rating from AK&M Rating Agency for the second time this year.
