CFT Posts Strong First-Half Growth Amid Currency Headwinds
Compagnie Financière Tradition (CFT) has reported strong growth in its first-half results, despite currency headwinds. The company's consolidated revenue, including joint ventures, rose by 10.4% at constant exchange rates to CHF 646.2 million.
The increase was driven primarily by the firm's core interdealer broking operations and a solid performance in Japanese retail brokerage. EBITDA margin improved to 18.6%, while net profit attributable to shareholders increased by 22.5% at constant exchange rates to CHF 79.1 million.
The company's financials were boosted by better results from associates, lower financial expenses, and a robust balance sheet with high equity and solid net cash. Management signaled that the group will continue prioritizing organic expansion through targeted front-office hiring and regional offer development.
