Canada's Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne is optimistic about the country's economy ahead of the G20 summit in North Carolina. Speaking to reporters, he stated that 'Canada is doing fine' and expressed his confidence that the Canadian economy will continue to grow.

The G20 summit is scheduled to take place from August 31 to September 1. Champagne emphasized the need for a 'constructive spirit' among participating nations, stating that 'what we need is to level the playing field to make sure that we have growth, investment and sustained employment in all our countries.'

Canada's economy has been growing steadily, with an annualized rate of 3.3% in the second quarter. However, some experts have raised concerns about the impact of the US trade war on Canada's economy.
