China Manufacturing Sector Stabilizes Amid Modest Growth
China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported on Monday that its Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) rose to 49.8 in August, exceeding market consensus of 49.7.
The reading marks a slight improvement from the previous month's 49.2 and suggests some stability in China's manufacturing sector.
Meanwhile, the NBS Non-Manufacturing PMI remained steady at 49.0 in August, unchanged from July's figure.
The data had little impact on the Australian Dollar (AUD), with the AUD/USD pair trading down 0.04% to 0.7162 at press time.
