China's Manufacturing PMI Misses Mark, AUD Unfazed

China's RatingDog Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) declined to 50.9 in July from 51.7 in June, according to data published by RatingDog.

The reading fell short of market expectations, which forecasted a 51.5 result.

The Australian Dollar (AUD), often considered a proxy for China's economy, remained largely unaffected by the news, with the AUD/USD pair trading at 0.7035, up 0.18% on the day.
