In the space of two days, the party has received a total of £72 million, with the latest donation coming from Christopher Harborne, a crypto billionaire who has pledged £36 million. This is Harborne's second major contribution to the party, following a record-breaking £36 million donation by fellow crypto entrepreneur Ben Delo on Friday.
Harborne, who is Reform UK's biggest donor, explained his decision in an article published in The Telegraph newspaper, stating that he wants to support a strong economy and create jobs. He also praised Farage and the party for understanding what it takes to get the country back on track. In a nod to Delo's earlier donation, Harborne revealed that he had been making monthly donations of around £1 million before deciding to match Delo's record-breaking sum.
