Cuban Informal Market Sees Dollar Stagnate, Euro Rise
The informal currency market in Cuba is showing mixed signals this Monday, July 27. The US dollar remains unchanged from yesterday's price of 674 Cuban pesos (CUP) at 10:00 a.m. local time.
The euro, on the other hand, has gained ground and is trading at 788 CUP, up 3 pesos from the previous day. This represents an increase of +0.4% in comparison to yesterday's price.
The Freely Convertible Currency (MLC) also saw a rise, with its value increasing by 15.5 pesos to reach 494 CUP. However, this data should be taken as indicative due to the low volume of transactions supporting it.
