The Cuban informal market is experiencing uneven movement among its three reference currencies on August 19. The euro has seen a significant decline compared to the previous day, while the US dollar remains unchanged and the MLC is rising, albeit with caution due to low trading volume.

The exchange rate of the dollar (USD) to Cuban Peso (CUP) stands at 663 CUP, maintaining its stability in both daily and weekly comparisons. The dollar has fluctuated between a low of 663 and a high of 675 pesos over the last 30 days.

The euro, however, is on the decline, opening at 751 CUP, which represents a decrease of 6.5 pesos compared to the previous day. This downward trend is also confirmed in the weekly comparison, with the euro averaging 760 pesos a week ago.
