Cuba's Informal Currency Market Sees Mixed Signals at Start of August
The informal currency market in Cuba is showing mixed signals at the start of August. The U.S. dollar remains stable, trading at 673 Cuban pesos (CUP) with a slight increase over the past month.
The euro, on the other hand, has decreased for the second consecutive day, selling at 785 CUP and purchasing at 766 CUP. This marks a decline of 1.5% in just one week.
The MLC (Moneda Libremente Convertible) shows a slight increase, but its rate is considered indicative due to limited transactions. Its value has fallen by 4.7% compared to last week.
