Cuba's Informal Currency Market Sees Stable Day for Dollar and Euro

The informal currency market in Cuba has had a calm day on Saturday, August 15, 2026. The US dollar and euro have remained stable compared to the previous session, while the MLC has seen a notable decline.

The dollar is trading at 664 Cuban pesos (CUP), unchanged from the previous day, but down by 8.5 pesos over the past week (-1.3%). This represents a drop in value since last month, when the dollar was exchanged for 655 CUP.

The euro has also remained stable at 760 CUP, but its weekly loss is more significant, with a decline of 20.5 pesos (-2.6%) compared to seven days ago.
