Cuba's Informal Market Sees Dollar Stabilization, Euro Continues to Rise
The U.S. dollar has maintained its value in Cuba's informal market despite expectations of a decline, while the euro continues to rise.
At 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, the dollar was valued at 693 Cuban pesos (CUP), unchanged from the previous day's rate.
The euro saw an increase in value, reaching 788 CUP, one peso more than Saturday's rate of 787 CUP.
The MLC, Cuba's freely convertible currency, also rose to 464 CUP, five pesos higher than the previous day.
