Cuba's Informal Market Sees Dollar Steady, Euro and MLC Decline
The informal currency exchange market in Cuba is experiencing mixed activity on Sunday, according to recent data. The U.S. dollar remains steady at 664 Cuban pesos, while the euro has dropped by 2.5 pesos (-0.3%) from its previous value of 760 pesos, now standing at 758 pesos.
The MLC (Freely Convertible Currency) has also seen a decline, losing 11 pesos (-2.4%) to reach 446 pesos.
Compared to the official exchange rates set by the Central Bank of Cuba, the dollar is valued at 664 Cuban pesos in the informal market, while the euro stands at 758 pesos. The MLC does not have an equivalent official rate.
