Denmark Central Bank Follows ECB with Rate Hike
Denmark's central bank followed the European Central Bank's lead by increasing its key interest rate. The move was in line with the ECB, which raised rates for the second time this year due to concerns over inflationary pressures caused by the Middle East conflict.
The Denmark Central Bank hiked its benchmark current account interest rate and certificate of deposit rate by 25 basis points to 2.10% from 2.25%, maintaining stability in the krone against the euro.
