Dollar and Yuan Rise as Ruble Falls at BCSE Trading Start
The Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) saw changes in currency values at the start of trading on Monday, July 27th. The US dollar and Chinese yuan both rose in value, while the Russian ruble experienced a slight decline.
The US dollar gained 0.07% or 0.21 kopecks to reach 2.8826 Belarusian rubles at close of trading. In contrast, the Russian ruble fell by 0.02%, or 0.06 kopecks. One hundred Russian rubles were valued at 3.686 Belarusian rubles.
The Chinese yuan also saw a slight increase in value, rising by 0.01% or 0.05 kopecks to reach 4.257 Belarusian rubles for ten yuan. There were no recorded trades in the euro during this period.
