Dollar Dips Amid Stock Rally, Yen Gains on Japanese Economic Strength
The US dollar index DXY fell by -0.02% on Friday, barely holding above Thursday's 3.25-month low.
This decline came as stocks rallied, reducing demand for dollar liquidity.
The dollar was still weighed down by negative carryover from Wednesday, when the US Treasury boosted liquidity and announced plans to increase buybacks of long-dated bonds.
