Dollar Edges Higher in Iraq on August 15

The US dollar strengthened in Iraq on Saturday, August 15, 2026. In Baghdad and Erbil, trading saw the dollar hover around 153,500 dinars per 100 dollars.

According to a Shafaq News market survey, in Baghdad's Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges, the dollar traded at 153,100 dinars per 100 dollars. This is up from Thursday's price of 152,750 dinars.

In Baghdad, exchange shops sold the dollar at 153,500 dinars and bought it at 152,500 dinars. In Erbil, selling prices stood at 153,000 dinars, while buying prices were at 152,900 dinars.
