Dollar Edges Up Against Vietnamese Dong Amid Global Market Volatility
The US dollar gained ground against the Vietnamese dong on Friday morning, as reported by VnExpress International. The greenback rose 0.04% at a rate of VND26,120 per dollar, according to data from Vietcombank.
On the black market, however, the dollar remained steady at VND25,760.
Globally, the dollar held near its highest levels of the past week, driven by renewed fears of energy supply disruptions in the Middle East. This pushed up bond yields and oil prices, as reported by Reuters.
