Dollar, Euro, Yuan Rise as Ruble Falls on BCSE
The Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) started August on a positive note for several major currencies, while the Russian ruble weakened. The U.S. dollar rose by 0.08% to 2.9081 Belarusian rubles, marking a minor gain. The euro also gained ground, increasing by 0.09% to 3.3443 Belarusian rubles.
The Chinese yuan saw a slight uptick of 0.23%, reaching 4.3234 Belarusian rubles for every ten units traded. In contrast, the Russian ruble declined by 0.21% and was valued at 3.6553 Belarusian rubles for every hundred units.
The changes on the BCSE reflect global market trends and may indicate shifting investor confidence in these currencies.
