Dollar Exchange Rates Fluctuate Across Iraq's Major Cities
The US dollar's price in Iraq showed mixed results on Sunday, reflecting varying market conditions. In Baghdad, the exchange rate for the dollar hovered around 152,000 dinars per 100 dollars. According to a Shafaq News market survey, the dollar traded at 152,100 dinars per 100 dollars in Baghdad's Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges.
This represents a slight decline from the previous session's price of 152,200 dinars. In contrast, exchange shops in the Iraqi capital sold the dollar at 152,500 dinars and bought it at 151,500 dinars.
In Erbil, the selling prices for the dollar stood at 152,200 dinars, while buying prices were recorded at 151,150 dinars. The mixed performance of the dollar in Iraq's major cities highlights the complex dynamics driving currency markets in the region.
