Dollar Extends Gains Amid Trump-Iran Tensions
The US Dollar Index (DXY) has extended its gains for the second consecutive day, trading around 100.00 during the European session on Tuesday.
This comes as geopolitical tensions mounted following US President Donald Trump's characterization of his recent proposal as a 'last chance' for diplomatic resolution with Iran.
However, Iranian leadership swiftly rejected the overture, with General Mohsen Rezaei dismissing the conditions and warning that any foreign warships or military forces deployed to enforce such a corridor would be targeted directly.
