Dollar Falls in Baghdad and Erbil Markets
The US dollar experienced a slight drop in value on Sunday in Iraq's markets. According to a survey conducted by Shafaq News, the dollar traded at around 154,000 dinars per 100 dollars in various exchanges throughout the country.
In Baghdad's Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges, the dollar was sold for 153,750 dinars per 100 dollars, down from its morning session price of 154,000 dinars. Meanwhile, exchange shops in the Iraqi capital offered to sell the dollar at 154,250 dinars and buy it at 153,250 dinars.
In Erbil, the selling prices for the dollar stood at 153,750 dinars per 100 dollars, while buying prices were recorded at 153,700 dinars. The fluctuations in the dollar's value are a regular occurrence in Iraq's markets and can be influenced by various economic factors.
