Dollar Flat Against Krona as Treasury Report Reduces Regulatory Risk
The US dollar's recent performance against the Swedish krona (USD/SEK) has been relatively flat, with some decline in the latest session. According to a report from Traders Union, the pair is currently trading at kr9.6974, down from its previous level of kr9.7166.
The US Department of the Treasury's semiannual Report to Congress on foreign exchange policies found no evidence of currency manipulation among major US trading partners during the four quarters through December 2025. This determination reduces regulatory risk and limits policy-driven volatility in the USD/SEK cross.
Despite this, technical indicators suggest a bearish trend for USD/SEK, with momentum indicators showing downside risk. The pair is currently below its short- and medium-term moving averages but remains above major long-term support levels.
