Dollar Hits 7-Month Low Against Dong Amid Yen Strength
The US dollar has dropped to its lowest point against the Vietnamese dong in seven months. According to Vietcombank, the dollar is now being sold at VND26,150, a decrease of 0.22% from previous levels.
On the black market, the greenback has declined by 0.12% to VND25,780. Globally, the Japanese yen has strengthened against the US dollar, reaching a seven-month high due to traders unwinding short positions amid growing bets of a Bank of Japan interest-rate hike.
