Dollar Holds Steady Ahead of PCE Data and Jackson Hole Symposium
The US dollar held steady in early Asian trading on Wednesday as investors awaited inflation data from major economies ahead of the Federal Reserve's annual Jackson Hole symposium this weekend.
The greenback remained within a narrow range against most major currencies over the past week, with market participants focusing on the release of US personal consumption expenditures (PCE) data for July later in the day.
The US dollar index ended a three-day winning streak and was little changed at 98.918 in early Asian trading, according to QNA.
