The informal currency market in Cuba closed its trading session on Thursday, September 10, with mixed results for its primary currencies. The U.S. dollar remained unchanged from the previous day's rate, holding at 688 Cuban pesos (CUP), while the euro showed a significant increase to 784 CUP.

The dollar has been steadily rising over the past month, gaining 22.5 pesos from 665 CUP, but its stability at this level may be influenced by methodological adjustments. Meanwhile, the euro has appreciated by 16 pesos from 768 CUP, solidifying its dominant position in Cuba's parallel market.

The MLC, a digital currency with limited trading volume, was valued at 474 CUP for reference, reflecting an increase of 9 pesos from the previous session. However, over the last week, it has dropped by 35.5 pesos from its earlier 509 CUP.
