Dollar Holds Steady, Euro Falls in Cuba's Informal Market
The informal currency market in Cuba saw little change this Sunday, with the US dollar holding steady at 673 Cuban pesos (CUP) and the euro continuing its decline to 778 CUP. The Freely Convertible Currency (MLC) traded around 450 CUP.
According to CiberCuba's rate, the dollar has remained unchanged at 673 CUP, while the euro decreased from 782 to 778 CUP and the MLC increased from 449 to 450 CUP. This stability is also reflected in a weekly comparison, as the dollar was valued at 673 CUP last Sunday.
Over the past month, the dollar has fluctuated between a low of 655 and a high of 675 CUP, while the euro has varied between 745 and 790 CUP. In contrast, the MLC has ranged from 425 to 496 CUP.
