This represents a decline of 0.83 percent from the previous day's closing value.
The euro saw an increase, reaching 1.1674 dollars, up from 1.1576 dollars in the prior session.
The British pound also rose to 1.3607 dollars, higher than its previous close of 1.3534 dollars.
