Dollar Index Seeks Rebound Amid Sticky Inflation
The US Dollar Index (DXY) has been trading at around 99.14 on the 4-hour chart, rebounding from a low of 98.56. Despite this recovery, the DXY remains below its 100-day exponential moving average (EMA) at 99.45 and is still contained within a descending trendline in the area of 99.15.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) for the DXY currently stands at 56, indicating some price recovery but also resistance at multiple levels, including 99.12-99.26 and 99.48-99.99.
According to analysis, the DXY is attempting a corrective rebound that will likely remain below the areas of 99.26 and 99.48 before potentially reaching the 99.69 area if it breaks above these levels.
