Dollar Prices Stabilize in Iraq, but Remain Volatile
The US dollar experienced fluctuations in price over the weekend in Iraq, but ultimately stabilized around 154,000 dinars per 100 dollars. In Baghdad's Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchange markets, the dollar traded at a consistent rate of 154,000 dinars per 100 dollars throughout Saturday's session. This stability was also reflected in the morning's trading session.
However, prices varied slightly between buying and selling rates. In Baghdad, exchange shops sold the dollar at 154,500 dinars while purchasing it at 153,500 dinars. Meanwhile, in Erbil, selling prices stood at 154,000 dinars and buying prices at 153,900 dinars.
These price movements suggest that the US dollar has maintained a relatively stable value in Iraq's currency markets over the weekend, despite some minor fluctuations between buying and selling rates.
