Dollar Pulls Back Against Swissie Ahead of NFP Data
The US Dollar has pulled back to the 0.8100 area against the Swiss Franc on Friday, failing to extend its gains beyond 0.8135.
The dollar's upside momentum has waned ahead of the release of the key US Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) data.
Analysts at Deutsche Bank expect a modest improvement in July's payrolls, with 'a slight uptick in headline (+65k forecast vs. +57k previously) and private (+65k vs. +49k) payrolls.'
The Swiss SECO Consumer Climate Index has shown a slight improvement to -35 in Q3 from -40 in the previous quarter.
