Dollar Rises Against Vietnamese Dong Amid Global Strength

The US dollar rose slightly against the Vietnamese dong on Saturday morning at unofficial exchange points.

The greenback gained 0.08% to VND25,780, while Vietcombank kept its rate unchanged at VND26,110.

This movement comes after the dollar strengthened globally against the euro and Swiss franc on Friday due to rising US inflation data.

The dollar initially surged after the data release but investor sentiment remained fragile as escalating tensions with Iran pushed up oil prices.
