The dollar index experienced a slight decline to around 101.2 on Monday, reversing some of its gains from last week.

This drop was primarily driven by a decrease in oil prices following a pause in hostilities between the US and Iran over the weekend.

The suspension of strikes against Iran by the US began late Friday without an official announcement, while Tehran confirmed that it had ended its retaliatory military operations and held discussions with Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
