Dollar Slips as Trump Halts New Strikes on Iran

The US dollar experienced a decline against major currencies at the start of Asian trading on Monday following an order from US President Donald Trump to halt new strikes on Iran.

According to Reuters, the dollar fell by 0.2% against the Japanese yen to 163.585 yen, marking its steepest decline since July 10.

The euro and British pound both gained 0.2%, reaching $1.1397 and $1.3353 respectively.
