Dollar Stabilizes Amid Easing Middle East Tensions

The US Dollar stabilized on Thursday after weeks of uncertainty in the Middle East.

The greenback had weakened slightly following weak data releases earlier in the week, but found its footing as optimism about a conflict resolution in the region began to fade.

The ADP Employment Change declined to 44K in July from 98K in June and fell short of market expectations. The Institute for Supply Management's (ISM) Services Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) came in at 54.1, below analysts' estimates of 54.5.

The US Dollar Index clings to marginal daily gains but stays below 100.00.
