Dollar Stays Rangebound Ahead of Inflation Data and Jackson Hole
The US dollar remained steady in early Asian trading on Wednesday, awaiting inflation reports from major economies and ahead of the Jackson Hole symposium this weekend.
Investors are waiting for the release of PCE data for July later on Wednesday, with the greenback pinned in a narrow trading range against most of its major peers.
The US dollar index, which measures the strength of the dollar against a basket of six currencies, held steady at 98.918 after snapping a three-day winning streak on Tuesday.
