The US dollar has strengthened further against the Vietnamese dong on the black market. The greenback was sold at VND26,420, a 0.23% increase from its previous rate.

This comes as the dollar has been rising globally due to increased oil prices and hostilities in the Middle East. The European Central Bank kept interest rates unchanged, contributing to the dollar's growth.

The dollar index rose by 0.36% to 101.47, with the euro down 0.33% at $1.1372. This marks the dollar's biggest daily percentage gain in a month.
