Dollar Strengthens Against Iraqi Dinar in Baghdad and Erbil
The US dollar has strengthened against the Iraqi dinar in both Baghdad and Erbil, according to market surveys. On Sunday, the exchange rate hovered around 152,000 dinars per $100 across local currency markets.
In Baghdad's central exchanges, such as al-Kifah and al-Harithiya, the dollar traded at 151,800 Iraqi dinars per $100, up from 150,850 dinars on Saturday. In the retail market, exchange offices sold dollars at 152,250 dinars per $100 and bought them at 151,250 dinars.
In Erbil, the exchange rate was slightly higher, with the dollar selling at 152,200 dinars per $100 and being bought at 152,100 dinars. The market surveys suggest that the dollar has gained strength in both cities.
