Dollar Strengthens Against Swiss Franc Amid US-Iran Tensions
The US Dollar has risen against the Swiss Franc in Asian trading hours on Monday, stabilizing near 0.8090 after experiencing losses of over 0.5% in the previous session.
This increase is largely driven by renewed demand for the US Dollar as a safe-haven asset amidst heightened geopolitical tensions surrounding the United States-Iran conflict and the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran has indicated that discussions with Oman to create a secure maritime passage through the Strait are close to producing an agreement, although Tehran emphasized that any such arrangement would not immediately reopen the route.
