Dollar Surges Against Iraqi Dinar in Baghdad and Erbil

The US dollar has gained strength against the Iraqi dinar in Baghdad and Erbil. According to a market survey by Shafaq News, the USD/IQD exchange rate is currently at around 150,000 dinars per $100.

In Baghdad, the dollar traded at 150,050 IQD per $100 at Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya central exchanges on Monday morning. This represents a slight increase from Sunday's price of 149,650 IQD.

Exchange shops in the capital are offering the dollar at 150,500 IQD per $100 for sale, while buying it back at 149,500 IQD. In Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, the dollar is selling at 150,200 IQD per $100 and being bought back at 150,100 IQD per $100.
