Dollar Surges Against Iraqi Dinar in Baghdad and Erbil Markets

The US dollar has gained strength against the Iraqi dinar in both Baghdad and Erbil markets. In Sunday's trading, $100 was exchanged for around 156,500 dinars at Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges in Baghdad.

This represents a slight increase from Saturday's rate of 156,350 dinars per $100.

In local exchange shops in Baghdad, the dollar is selling at 157,000 dinars per $100 and buying at 156,000 dinars.

In Erbil, the dollar also edged higher, with exchange shops selling $100 for 156,450 dinars and buying it for 156,400 dinars.
