Dollar Surges in Iraqi Markets to 156,000 Dinar Per 100 Dollars
The US dollar has started trading higher in Iraq on Monday, September 7, 2026. The current exchange rate is around 156,000 dinars per 100 dollars.
According to a market survey conducted by Shafaq News, the dollar traded at 155,600 dinars per 100 dollars in Baghdad's Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges, up from last session's 154,900 dinars.
In Baghdad, exchange shops are selling the dollar at 156,000 dinars and buying it at 155,000 dinars. In Erbil, selling prices stood at 155,500 dinars and buying prices at 155,400 dinars.
