Dollar Tumbles Amid Halted Airstrikes and Lower Oil Prices
The US dollar retreated against major currencies at the start of Asian trading on Monday, following the United States' decision to halt its airstrikes on Iran.
This move led to lower oil prices and boosted investor confidence worldwide, causing the dollar to decline by 0.25% against a basket of six major currencies.
The US Dollar Index fell to 101.23 points, while the dollar dropped 0.2% against the Japanese yen to 163.585, marking its biggest fall since July 10.
