Dollar Weakens Amid Late Trading, Oil Prices Tick Up
The US dollar weakened in late trading on Friday.
The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, decreased by 0.09 percent to 98.801 at 15:00 (1900 GMT).
In late New York trading, the euro added value, reaching 1.1683 dollars from 1.1676 dollars in the previous session, while the British pound climbed to 1.3652 dollars from 1.3628 dollars.
