The dollar-yen pair has been hovering around 157 after rebounding from its post-Jobs-Data plunge. The focus is now on the Bank of Japan's (BOJ) opinions and potential intervention, which could cap the upside for the dollar-yen.

Japan's economic indicators, including the June Balance of Payments statistics and July Economy Watchers Survey, are set to be released today. The market expects a current account surplus of ¥1.51 trillion and a trade deficit of ¥70.2 billion in the balance of payments statistics.

The BOJ's summary of opinions from its monetary policy meeting on July 30-31 will also be released today, which could provide clues about the next rate hike timing.
