Draper: Bitcoin Will Go Infinite Against Dollar Amid Accelerating Adoption
Billionaire venture capitalist Tim Draper has doubled down on his prediction that Bitcoin will go 'infinite' against the US dollar. Speaking on X, he argued that accelerating adoption would lead to a fundamental transformation of the financial system and ultimately render traditional banks obsolete.
Draper pointed out that businesses are increasingly accepting Bitcoin payments, with Block beginning to automatically enable this feature for eligible U.S. Square sellers in March. This rollout could potentially reach millions of merchants.
The venture capitalist's Draper Innovation Index has shown that crypto-friendly states such as Texas and Oklahoma are creating favorable conditions for entrepreneurs, contributing to their outperformance.
Draper also dismissed concerns about the technological threats facing Bitcoin, stating that quantum computing is more likely to compromise traditional banks before it compromises Bitcoin. He compared the transition from traditional banking to Bitcoin with the shift from horses to automobiles.
